Ribbon-Cutting Set For Land O' Lakes Senior Kitchen

Producing the meals in-house will allow for a substantial annual savings of approximately $120,000.

LAND O’ LAKES, FL ---- Pasco County Community Services is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday, March 26, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. to celebrate the opening of the new commercial kitchen at the Land O’Lakes Senior Center, 6801 Wisteria Loop, Land O' Lakes.

The new commercial kitchen at the Land O’Lakes Senior Center will produce meals for the senior center congregate, home-delivered meals and Meals on Wheels programs. Producing the meals in-house will allow for a substantial annual savings of approximately $120,000.

“The Land O’Lakes kitchen project is an initiative that we’ve strived for several years to realize,” said Community Services Director Gabriel Papadopoulos. “With the help of Feeding Pasco’s Elderly and the support and hard work of many of our benefactors, including the Pasco County School Board, our vision has finally come to fruition.”
